Terms & Conditions Effective Date: July 2025

Welcome to Obsidian Auto Detailing. By booking an appointment, using our website, or engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided We offer auto detailing services, including interior and exterior cleaning, paint correction, and protective coatings. Service descriptions and pricing are available on our website or booking page. Obsidian Auto Detailing reserves the right to decline or modify services at our discretion based on vehicle condition, safety, or access limitations.

 

2. Booking & Deposits To confirm your appointment, a non-refundable deposit is required:

Signature Interior or Exterior - $50

Signature Interior & Exterior (Full Detail) - $50

Obsidian Interior or Exterior (Premium Services) -$100

Maintenance Services -No deposit required

Deposits are applied toward your final service balance and are forfeited if the appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours notice or in the event of a no-show.

 

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling You may reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours notice and carry your deposit forward. Cancellations within 24 hours will result in deposit forfeiture. No-shows or missed appointments without prior notice may require prepayment in full for future services.

 

4. Service Limitations We may reschedule appointments due to severe weather, unsafe conditions, or vehicle conditions that prevent proper service. If conditions prevent completion of the job, your appointment will be rescheduled at no cost.

 

5. Vehicle Condition & Liability You are responsible for removing all personal belongings from your vehicle prior to service. We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items left inside the vehicle. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, including but not limited to:

• Scratches, chips, faded paint, rust, or stains

• General wear and tear

• Malfunctioning electronics or aftermarket modifications

For our records and your protection, we may photograph your vehicle before and after service.

 

6. Satisfaction & Corrections We aim for 100% satisfaction. If you're unhappy with your service, notify us within 24 hours. We may offer a free touch-up or correction depending on the concern. Refunds are not offered once the service is completed, unless under exceptional circumstances and at our sole discretion.

 

7. Marketing & Photo Use With your consent, we may use before/after photos of your vehicle on our website or social media for promotional purposes. We will never disclose your personal information or license plate unless explicitly permitted.

 

8. Changes to Terms We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes agreement to the revised terms.

 

9. Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved under applicable provincial law.
